Wily Architecture

Wily Architecture consists of the following:

Agents
EnterpriseManager
SmartStor
WebView

Now we will define each of these terms:

Agents: Agents collects the metrics from the application platforms and other resources. The Agents than report the metrics to the EM. To get the metrics, it is important to configure the agents on the destination resources from where you want to pull the data.

EnterpriseManager (EM): Enterprise Manager also known as EM in short. Enterprisemanager is a performance metrics collector. It recieves the metrics from the agents configured on various systems. It`s a respository which collects all application resource metrics centrally.

SmartStor: SmartStor is the wily database which stores the transactions and metrics.

Webview: Webview is the web-based console, which can be either accessed using web browser or by installing the workstation to connect to EM to get the data. The web view makes it really easy for a user to monitor the performance.
